I dig this. Cole is like literally in the middle but he had always maintained that image of being the "person" rather than the "rapper". It's how I became a fan honestly. Cole is personal and spiritual. Kendrick and Drake are wearing opposites as there images. Kendrick embraces his past and wear it on his sleeves but with Drake it's like he become a completely different person 🤔.

Beautiful video! And to anybody that says Cole dropped his tough guy facade and that he is a fraud, they clearly do not listen to J Cole. Cuz his message since the start has been that your personal peace, family and love outvalues every other aspect, if he doesn't hate you, he won't beef with you, and above all showing growth and maturity as a person. If you say, he can't be Number one after this, absolutely fair, in fact I agree. If you say, he can't say anything about being the GOAT after dropping out of the beef, do think that maybe to him, rather than beefing, it's about competing with your peers, outdoing them on a song, that carries more weight and in that spectrum he is only rivalled by Lil Wayne with his incredible feature run. In the end, nothing will stop me from saying that Jermaine Lamarr Cole is my FAVORITE musician of all time, because though his catalogue is not as stellar as Kendrick's, I relate to it way more, learn from it way more, and enjoy it just as much, because he is somebody I can aspire to be like in REAL LIFE.
